Welcome to Modern Mane Hair Salon and Beauty Lounge where passion for hair and beauty meets over 15 years of industry excellence.
A proud graduate of the International Institute of Cosmetology, I am dedicated to transforming your hair into a masterpiece, whether it’s through the art of hand-tied extensions or creating the perfect shade of blonde. My expertise extends to lived in color services such as balayage, dimensional color, and advanced hair cutting techniques ensuring your look is tailored perfectly for you. I pride myself on making everyone comfortable in my chair and feel strongly about the importance of a thorough consultation to understand your unique needs and preferences. Having worked on set for CT Elan magazine, as well as working along side many bridal events, I bring editorial-level styling to every appointment. My involvement with the CT Go Pink Project and charity events throughout my career reflect my commitment to community and empowerment. I am also a proud finalist of the Zip 06 “Best of the Shoreline” awards for hairdressing. I am here to make everyday a great hair day! I look forward to hearing from you.

Kate has been a hairstylist with over 11 years of experience and is passionate about creating beautiful, confidence-boosting hair. She graduated from Wilcox Tech in 2014 and has been dedicated to her craft ever since, specializing in lived-in color, blonding, and personalized haircuts that suit each client’s unique style. She has had the incredible journey of owning her own salon and is now stepping into her exciting new venture on the shoreline!
